JP LEONARD

Jason "JP" Leonard (@thejpleonard) has performed across the U.S., appearing at renowned venues like The Stand and New York Comedy Club in NYC, Creek & Cave in Austin, and The Riot in Houston. He's also a regular at Don't Tell Comedy shows in New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida.

JP has performed at comedy festivals in Austin, Atlanta, New Orleans, Knoxville, Houston, and Birmingham. He's performed in theaters alongside big names such as Mark Normand, Dave Attell, and Jim Breuer, and has opened and hosted for top comedians like Tom Segura, Nate Bargatze, Doug Stanhope, Kyle Kinane, Shane Gillis, Ms. Pat, Bobcat Goldthwait, Greg Fitzsimmons, Emo Philips, Judah Friedlander, and more.

As the founder of Lafayette Comedy (lafayettecomedy.com), JP is also a comedy writer, having contributed to The Laugh Button.

He currently co-hosts the podcast We’re Dying Down Here with comedian Tyler Arceneaux, where they interview national comedians and discuss the highs and lows of performing comedy in smaller markets.
